Onsite IT Support.Right Where You Need Us.

Some technology problems need someone in the room. IM YOUR NERD works directly with your people, equipment, and vendors to troubleshoot issues and help keep your workplace running.

Our primary onsite support areas are New York, New Jersey, and South Florida. We confirm coverage and scheduling for your specific location.

01

We discuss the issue, your equipment, and the access needed for the visit.

02

Get Hands-On

We work directly with your team and technology at your location.

03

We explain the outcome and identify any remaining work or next steps.

Support at Your Location

A person in the room. A partner focused on getting your team back to work.

Practical Support

When remote support needs a local partner.

A disconnected workstation, an unreliable office network, or new equipment can require physical access. We help assess the problem and agree on the work needed before arranging an onsite visit.

Onsite visits are billed separately from core managed IT services. We agree on the scope and pricing before scheduling. Onsite work can include:

Workstation & Device Support

Hands-on troubleshooting for computers, monitors, docks, printers, and the equipment employees use every day.

Office Network Troubleshooting

Investigate connectivity issues involving Wi-Fi, network equipment, and physical connections that cannot be fully assessed remotely.

Equipment Setup & Replacement

Help set up and replace business equipment, check connections, and confirm that users can access the tools they need.

Office Moves & Changes

Coordinate technology tasks for office moves and workspace changes, with the equipment, timing, and responsibilities agreed in advance.

Vendor Coordination

Work with your internet, equipment, and other technology providers when an issue requires someone at your location.

Hands for Your Internal IT Team

Provide a local technician to carry out agreed tasks while your CTO, internal IT staff, or remote specialists direct the broader work.

Built Around Your Team

Support for your office and your IT staff.

For businesses without onsite IT

Give your employees a technical resource for work that needs to happen in person. We discuss the issue, coordinate access, and work with your designated contact throughout the visit.

For businesses with internal IT

Extend your team with onsite help for equipment, troubleshooting, and projects. Your IT staff can stay involved while we handle the agreed work at the location.

Before We Visit

Help us arrive with the right context.

When you contact us, include your office location, the issue or project, the equipment involved, and your preferred timing. Let us know about building access requirements and any vendors or internal IT staff who need to participate.

We will confirm coverage, availability, the proposed scope, and pricing before scheduling. If the issue can be addressed remotely, we can discuss that option as well.

For managed-service customers, onsite visits complement the helpdesk, systems administration, network administration, and vCTO/vCIO guidance included in every agreement. Visits are coordinated with that ongoing support and billed separately. Explore our Managed IT Services.

Your Questions, Answered

Planning an onsite visit.

Where do you offer onsite IT support?

Our primary onsite support areas are New York, New Jersey, and South Florida, including the Boca Raton area. Share your office address or list of locations so we can confirm coverage and availability for each site.

How quickly can a technician visit our office?

Visit timing depends on your location, the issue, technician availability, and your service agreement. Our less-than-one-hour SLA covers the initial response to customer support requests during business hours, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern. It does not guarantee arrival at your office or resolution within that hour. We confirm onsite timing separately.

Can you work with our internal IT team or existing vendors?

Yes. We can coordinate with your CTO, IT staff, and technology vendors to carry out agreed onsite tasks. We clarify responsibilities and access requirements before the visit.

Can you help with an office move or new equipment?

Yes. We can help with equipment setup, technology relocation, and workspace changes. These projects are scoped and billed separately. Share your timeline and equipment details so we can define the work, responsibilities, pricing, and schedule.

How do customers request after-hours help?

Email your support request to our team. Our answering team reviews it and determines whether after-hours support is needed. Coverage and charges depend on your contract. If an onsite visit is needed, availability and timing are confirmed separately.

Is onsite support included in managed IT services?

Onsite visits are billed separately from your core managed IT services. Your managed-service agreement includes helpdesk support, systems administration, network administration, and vCTO/vCIO guidance. We confirm the onsite scope and pricing before scheduling a visit.
